How to Paint a Flower Arrangement in Acrylic

One of the most effective ways I have found to improve and refresh my painting skills is by watching other artists paint. You can really get a feeling of the various stages that a painting goes through - from background and underpainting, to adding forms, shadows, and highlights, you can watch each step and see how a painting builds from a blank canvas to a finished piece. To show you this process, I painted a quick floral bouquet using acrylic paints and took pictures of each step along the way. The entire painting took about 1-1/2 hours, but here it is boiled down for you in under 2 minutes. I hope this helps you see the progression.
